Team Simoco expands with Doughty
Derby-based radio communications specialist Team Simoco has recruited former Motorola general manager John Doughty. Doughty will take on the role of business development manager to help Team Simoco expand its international prescence.
The communications company said the Doughty’s new role would include developing business leads in new and emerging markets, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Russia.
Doughty has almost 30 years’ experience working for Motorola, and will now play a central role in developing new geographical target regions for Team Simoco’s products and services.
Doughty said: “Team Simoco is a dynamic company, which offers many interesting opportunities to work with businesses around the world. My main aim is to develop a range of new business opportunities in geographical regions where we are not currently trading. My primary focus will be on the Middle East and Russia, where I’ll be working to promote the Simoco brand and build a network of local distribution partners.”
