Mansfield manager nominated for national construction prize
A project manager from Mansfield-based Herbert Baggaley Construction has been shortlisted in this year’s CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards. Mark Greasby has been nominated for his role on the SportPark development at Loughborough University.
The CIOB Construction Manger awards are national honours recognising individual management talent in the construction industry.
Greasby has been shortlisted in the category for New Build and Refurbishment Projects valued at between £8m and £14m. he worked on the SportPark development, a £12m new-build office facility at Loughborough University, which was constructed for various British sporting associations.
The awards will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London on 14 October.
Greasby said: “It is great to be recognised alongside a number of leading players in the construction industry who have played key roles in some highly prestigious projects across the country. I am very much looking forward to the event in London when I will find out if I have been successful.”
