Birmingham-based law firm Wragge and Co has been appointed full service legal adviser to AIM-quoted Harvard International. The firm will be the sole adviser to the electronic products supplier, which has an annual turnover of £77m.

Harvard International, based in Elstree, operates brands such as Goodmans and Grundig. Wragge and Co will advise the company on a range of issues, from intellectual property issues to corporate deals.

Managing partner Ian Metcalfe led the Birmingham law firm on the appointment.

He said: "Our technical expertise and instant rapport with the client were key to this appointment. It's an exciting time to be working with Harvard International.

“Its focus is on specialist electrical products such as TV set-top boxes so the digital switchover presents significant opportunities. It needs cost-effective and pragmatic legal advice and with our strong track record of advising major corporates, it's what we are well placed to provide."
