Science Festival comes to Birmingham
The British Science Festival will take place in Birmingham this year. The event, which takes place from 14-19 September, will be held at Aston University.
Among the events taking place is an inaugural lecture entitled "getting on with the boss: why the relationship with your manager is so important". The lecture will be presented by Professor Robin Martin on Thursday 16 September, and is free to attend.
The "bioenergy Solution for Birmingham" discussion on 15 September is also being presented as part of the festival. The discussion has been organised in association with Royal Society of Chemistry and explores how materials that might otherwise be landfilled can be used to produce fuel.
On 17 September, the "paving the way for sustainable transport" event will take place, where visitors will be able to experience first-hand the next generation of sustainable vehicles.
