Real estate investment manager PRUPIM has sold its industrial premises in Streethay, Lichfield, for £615,000. The deal was brokered by agent DTZ.

The purchaser is heavy goods vehicle servicing and repair specialist Bullwell Trailer Solutions (BTS).

BTS plans to relocate its repair workshop operation from its current premises in Tamworth to the newly refurbished 11,025 sq ft industrial warehouse unit on Burton Road.

DTZ advised Bullwell on a change of use application for the premises which will be used for HGV trailer repair, maintenance and testing.

John Sambrooks, associate director in DTZ’s industrial and logistics team, said: “Following an extensive refurbishment programme by PRUPIM, interest in the unit was very strong, in particular due to the large yard which is a rare commodity in Lichfield.”

Gary Bulley, managing director of BTS, said: “We chose to relocate to Lichfield due to its strategic transport links and close proximity to the A38 and M6 Toll. The property offers growth opportunities on a self contained site and the refurbishment programme carried out by PRUPIM has enabled us to take occupation quickly to limit impact during our relocation.”
