Butt Foods launches new range following investment
A Nottingham-based bread manufacturer has launched a new range of products following a £3,800 investment from the Food and Drink iNet. Butt Foods received the support to develop five new flavours in its range of sub rolls, and is now preparing to launch its new products at a food trade exhibition in London.
The company received £3,800 worth of innovation, advice and guidance support from the iNet, which it also matched with its own investment.
David Williams, sales and marketing director, said:“The Big Softy sub rolls have been a great success from day one of their launch – our sales have shown 50 per cent quarter on quarter growth.
“The Food and Drink iNet has been a big help to us as we open the latest chapter in the life of Butt Foods, which is this year marking its 20th anniversary.”
The company will now exhibit its sliced rolls at the Lunch! 2010 trade fair in London later this month.
The Food and Drink iNet is funded by the East Midlands Development Agency (Emda).
