Victoria Centre opens doors to small businesses

Share | |

The Victoria Centre in Nottingham is introducing bespoke mall units for smaller businesses in what it calls “an effort to support local enterprises”. The units will house alternatives to mass-produced brands and aims to help small businesses across the region gain more exposure.

The shopping centre will open units to local, smaller businesses alongside the high street shops which currently reside in the complex.

Names such as John Lewis and House of Fraser are among the 120 occupiers in the centre.

Local and bespoke tenants are currently being sourced, and the centre expects more local businesses to occupy the units shortly. A florist, a delicatessen and a local farm producer are all expected to take up residency soon. The Victoria Centre will also offer support and advice for those businesses that are retailing for the first time.
