Northampton set for boom years, says commercial property consultant
Northampton-based property consultancy Drake Commercial is in a “buoyant mood” according to partner James Hill, following taking on commercial property expert Nick Roberts.
Roberts, who will be helping handle the sale of a portfolio covering more than £100m worth of property in Northampton, believes the town is set to boom. He said: “I have been a commercial property consultant for 20 years and there are now positive signs that the doom and gloom of the recession is giving way to a level of optimism."
Last month, the company was appointed as the sole property agent for Interchange House, a £10m business hub in Newport Pagnell.
At the time, Tony Drake, partner at the firm, said: “Millions of pounds are being ploughed into this new project to make it one of the finest business centres in Britain with work underway just days after the company completed the sale earlier this month.”
