Sovereign Capital acquires again

Share | |

Enable Infomatrix, a Stratford-based software management company, has been sold to private equity house Sovereign Capital. The business will now become part of a group of companies focused on the governance, risk and compliance sector.

Colin James and Alan Neill, both executive directors of Enable Infomatrix, will join the senior management team of the new group.

Wright Hassal, the law firm based in Leamington Spa, advised Enable Infomatrix on the deal.

Tim Goodman, of Wright Hassall, said the deal was “significant” considering the difficult market conditions.

He said: “Although the M&A market remains subdued, certain private equity groups remain acquisitive for high quality growth businesses to integrate with their existing portfolio companies.

“EIX has established itself in its sector and was a very attractive proposition.”

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal acted on behalf of Sovereign Capital.
