Wakemans gets Travelodge call
Property and construction consultant Wakemans has been appointed as the agent on a new Travelodge in London. The Birmingham-based company is acting as employer’s agent and financial controller on behalf of landlord ING Real Estate Investment Management.
Planning has been granted for the scheme, which will involve the conversion of a four floor office block in St Swithins Lane into a 75-bedroom hotel.
Adrian Aston, director of Wakemans, said: “This is an important high profile development for Travelodge as it is in a prime location just two minutes from Cannon Street and Bank tube stations in an area of busy restaurants, shops and bars.”
