Nottingham call centre Domestic & General (D&G) has appointed a learning and development manager.

Lynne Swinson has joined the team and will be managing the learning development team for the Nottingham contact centre.

Swinson has over 15 years' experience as a learning and development manager and joined D&G from Alliance and Leicester.

Her role will involve analysing requirements, creating training solutions and evaluating the impact on the business to ensure D&G is functioning as efficiently as possible.

D&G, which is based in Talbot Street in the city centre, is the UK's largest specialist provider of service contracts on domestic electrical equipment. The firm employs more than 700 people aged from 16 to 73 at its Nottingham call centre which opened in 1997.

“D&G has a great reputation in the industry and I am delighted to be joining a very busy and successful team. We are a customer focused organisation and hope I am able to implement training and learning solutions to fulfil the customer’s needs.”
