Dunn deal for photography company

Photographic business Dunns Imaging has acquired School Diaries, the personalised diary service, following a loan from NatWest. Both companies are based in Cradley Heath.

Dunns Imaging also received finance from the government-backed Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme to complete the deal.

The family-run business said through the financing facility it has been able to add another employee to its existing team of 33.

Alan Dunn, managing director of Dunns Imagery, said that the acquisition meant the company was “definitely moving forward as a business”.

He said: “Dunns has a very proud 104-year history where we have not only delivered exactly what our customers have wanted, we have also evolved and developed to ensure we adapt to market conditions and trends.

“We will ensure we continue a tradition of producing a unique range of diaries at the best value and quality on the market in Britain, whilst using our on-line image handling experience to expand the range of printed products we can offer to schools.”
