Shakespeare Putsman set to merge with Notts firm
Reports this morning have revealed that law firm Shakespeare Putsman is set to merge with Nottingham-based practice, Berryman. Shakespeare Putsman merged with Midlands law firm Needham & James in July.
The Birmingham-based law firm has an annual turnover of about £24m and employs 320 people, including 40 partners.
Berryman, which is based in Friar Lane in Nottingham, employs about 130 staff.
The news comes just weeks after Berryman lost its head of employment law Ginny Hallam to rival Geldards.
