Clever move for FBC Manby Bowdler
West Midlands law firm FBC Manby Bowdler has appointed a new head of family law at its Wolverhampton office. Elizabeth Cleverley, a partner with the firm, will transfer from the company’s Shrewsbury office to take up the role.
Cleverley has more than 25 years’ experience of family law and has particular expertise in high net worth divorce and family trusts.
Also joining Cleverley at the firm’s Wolverhampton-based family office is partner Fay Rothery. Rothery specialises in divorce, ancillary financial matters and disputes involving children.
Anne Thomson, partner and head of family law for the whole firm, said: “We have one of the largest and most specialised family law departments based in the West Midlands outside Birmingham.
"We have taken the opportunity to change the main working base of some of our most senior lawyers to maintain the first class family law service which we believe we provide seamlessly to the people of Staffordshire, Shropshire, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.”
The firm operates from offices in Wolverhampton, Willenhall, Telford, Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth.
