Mortgage applications top £33m
Mortgage applications at West Midlands-based The Tipton & Coseley Building Society topped £33m between January and July this year. The number signifies a 119 per cent rise on the same period in 2009.
This includes £6.8m worth of applications in May, £8.5m in June and £7.8m in July this year, with the seven months totalling £33.7m worth of mortgage applications.
The building society said its discounted mortgage range has been particularly popular with members whose postcodes begin DY, WV, WS and B.

The Tipton & Coseley has branches in Tipton, Coseley, Sedgley and Bilston.
