Orchid signs healthy deal with GHG
Orchid, the East Midlands IT company, has secured a multimillion pound contract with General Healthcare Group (GHG). Orchid, which has offices in Derby and Nottingham, will supply server, network, desktop, laptop and printer hardware to the healthcare giant.
GHG, the UK’s largest independent provider of private healthcare, has also contracted the company to undertake responsibility for its data cabling, disposal and engineering services, as well as a new hardware maintenance contract.
Orchid, which employs 50 people at its two offices, has agreed to a three-year deal.
GHG IT director Dan Morgan said: “Having already worked with Orchid for three years, I was happy to extend our relationship for another three years and to significantly broaden the scope. Their combination of price and service is exactly what I’m looking for in a key partner.”
