Ward Lovett and Interactive merge as Lovett boss leaves
Two communications businesses in the Midlands have merged to form a new marketing agency. Cannock–based Ward Lovett and Interactive, based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, will continue to trade by their individual brands, as the new venture is yet to be named.
In addition to announcing the merger, Ward Lovett said Nick Lovett, former shareholder and director of the company, is "taking the opportunity to explore other career interests" and has now left the business. The company added that Lovett "is helping to ensure a smooth continuation of service".
The two companies hope the merger between advertising and PR agency Ward Lovett and Interactive Marketing will extend the agencies’ creative design and interactive capacities, as well as grow the PR, advertising, SEO and social marketing provisions of the pair.
Interactive Marketing director Mark Roberts said: “I am delighted that we have had the opportunity to bring the companies together to form a business which we think will offer a unique proposition in the Midlands marketing industry."
The companies have a combined workforce of 29.
