Country club enters administration
High Legh Park Country Club, which is headquartered in Solihull, has entered administration alongside its holding company, High Legh Holdings. Daniel Butters and Bill Dawson, of Deloitte, have been appointed joint administrators.
Butters, a partner at the business advisory firm, said they were “exploring all sales options” for the club, which employs nine people.
The country club, which trades in Knutsford, Cheshire, has an 18-hole golf course along with three putting greens and a 300 yard driving range.
Chartered surveyor Humberts Leisure is inviting offers in the region of £750,000 for the 10,710 sq ft property. According to the London-based surveyor, the country club enjoys a turnover of around £600,000.
Butters said: “It is our intention to trade the business as usual, whilst actively marketing the company and exploring all sale options.”
