ProTech Computer Systems, the Birmingham headquartered company, has begun plans for expansion following an investment from the Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme.

Following the government-backed funding, the business is planning to increase its workforce by 30 per cent in the short-term.

ProTech, which supplies Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM), has also won a contract with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) following the investment. The company says it will implement a new CRM marketing, membership and education management solution for the institute.

The company, which currently employs 28 people at its Great Barr office, was introduced to the EFG through NatWest.

Mark Trouth, managing director of ProTech, said that he was “delighted” with the company’s expansion plans. He said: "We have worked closely with CMI’s team to produce a detailed solution that will bring significant business improvements to their organisation."
