Umeco, the supplier of supply chain services and advanced composite materials based in Leamington Spa, has extended its commercial relationship with Rolls-Royce. The contract is expected to generate annual revenues in excess of $20m and will involve Umeco providing supply chain services to the Rolls-Royce North American operations.

Through its Pattonair subsidiary, Umeco already provides Rolls-Royce with supply chain management services, delivering direct line feed and kitting services to Rolls-Royce locations in the UK and Germany.

The North American contract is effective from 1 January 2011 and initially extends to 31 December 2017. It will be managed from Pattonair’s existing facility in Fort Worth.

Additionally, Umeco said that Roll-Royce had agreed the existing major supply chain contract in the UK will be extended by two years to 31 December 2017.
