Paramex to supply worldwide
Coventry-based Paramex has won a three-year deal to supply software across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The CAD design and development specialist will manage and sell product cost management software for American business aPriori.
The contract will give Paramex the sole rights to resell product cost management software.
Phil Hands, chief executive of Paramex, said: “aPriori is a software application that helps you answer cost questions faster than you could ever imagine, such as what happens if you change the product design, will the cost go up or down or what happens to the cost of the design if we change the material from aluminum to steel.”
The Paramex group consists of three divisions - Paramex, Paramex Design, Paramex DTC (Design to Cost) and Paramex ONE.
The company, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year has also announced that it will relocate to its previous premises at the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre in Binley. The company was a tenant there between 2002 and 2006.
Hands said the company wanted to bring all three of the group’s divisions together under one roof.
He added that the business would be expanding its ten-strong team by the end of the year.
