Innes England secures Derbyshire Fire & Rescue relocation

Innes England has secured a letting to enable Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service to temporarily relocate its Derby city centre Ascot Drive services. The business will move into Unit 2, Newmarket Drive on Osmaston Industrial Estate.

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service is redeveloping the main station on Ascot Drive in the city. To ensure that services are not affected while the works take place, the fire service took the decision to temporarily move the base.

A three-year lease has been agreed on the Osmaston Park unit with an option to break after two years on the 11,329 sq ft premises.

Tim Richardson acted on behalf of the Ashtenne Industrial Fund in the letting and said: “The unit addresses the needs of the fire service in terms of good road connections, proximity to the old site and space for the appliances.

“Ascot Drive is a popular and accessible location for local businesses and we’re pleased to have let the final vacant unit on behalf of our client leaving Newmarket Court fully let.”
