Prospect makes Telford's biggest shed deal
A Telford industrial site has been purchased by Prospect Estates for £1.83m in the town’s largest industrial deal this year. Halesfield Seven, the 15.63-acre estate, will be sub-divided to create a new estate known as Epic Park.
Prospect Estates, based in Otley, plans to refurbish and split the existing building into eight self-contained industrial and warehouse units and a two-storey 10,350 sq ft office building to buy or let.
The site was formerly home to French company Plastic Ominium.
The deal was brokered by joint agents, DTZ, Bulleys and Colliers International.
John Sambrooks, associate director in DTZ’s industrial team, described the acquisition as “a major investment for telford”.
He added: “The site is already an established industrial area within Telford and with easy access to the M54 and national motorway network, it is anticipated that the new complex at Epic Park will attract new and established businesses and help create jobs for the local area.”
