HomeServe increases membership
HomeServe, the Walsall-based home emergency business, has said the business has grown and membership developed throughout the first half of the year. The news was revealed this morning in the company’s interim statement for the period 1 April to 30 July 2010, which coincides with the company’s AGM.
The business said that policy numbers have increased and retention rates remain high across all territories. It added that it is “on track to achieve its customer growth and retention targets for the full year".
It was also announced by the company that its France-based warranty business, SFG, has signed its first manufacturer warranty agreement with Indesit, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of domestic appliances. SFG will manage Indesit’s extended manufacturer warranty policies from the second half of the year.
