Coventry City Council in development reshuffle

Share | |

Coventry City Council has appointed Richard Moon as senior development executive in a revamp of its city centre and development services division. Moon joins the council from Worcester-based property development firm Maximus Group.

A qualified chartered surveyor, Moon has previously worked for Midland Oak, Bryant Properties and Barberry Group.

David Cockroft, assistant director of the division, said the appointment and the completed re-organisation will allow the department to bring forward a number of proposed development opportunities in the city, which include plans to double the retail area of Coventry city centre.

He said: “We recognise the need to have a very positive and productive relationship with developers, and Richard - with his 20 years’ experience - is perfectly placed to help us take that forward.”
