Drake wins £10m hub contract
Northampton-based Drake Commercial has been appointed as the sole property agent for a £10m business hub expected to create up to 1,000 jobs.
The hub, Interchange House, is near Junction 14 of the M1 at Newport Pagnell, which the agent hopes will fill a gap in the market for businesses which want space near the motorway network.
Tony Drake, partner at Drake Commercial, said: “Millions of pounds are being ploughed into this new project to make it one of the finest business centres in Britain with work underway just days after the company completed the sale earlier this month. We expect units in the main offices to be ready for occupation in the autumn.”
The firm will act for the hub’s owners, Milton Keynes-based business premises company bucks-bizz.com.
