Ausden Clark drives home investment deal
Leicester coach company Ausden Clark is expanding its fleet after becoming the official coach operator for Leicester City FC. It follows a £165,000 investment from Yorkshire Bank.
The company, which employs more than 100 staff, has invested £165,000 on its new 75-seater Scania coach after agreeing to a funding package with the bank’s Investing for Growth project.
Ausden Clark, which has its headquarters in Dysart Way in Leicester and also has depots in Market Harborough, Lutterworth and Cossington, was established in 1992 and has an annual turnover of £5m.
The new coach will add to the firm’s current 75-strong fleet.
The company’s operations manager Adam Frost said: “On top of this new vehicle we also have plans in place to purchase two further 57-seater executive coaches over the next six months and this will also no doubt lead to us adding to the great team we already have in place.”
