Clive Reeves PR scoops Royal Ballet contract
Birmingham Royal Ballet has appointed Clive Reeves Public Relations to deliver PR support for Ballet, Birmingham & Me.
Ballet, Birmingham & Me is a joint venture between Birmingham Royal Ballet, Birmingham Youth Service and Birmingham Association of Youth Clubs. The project, which is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, is a two-year programme involving the participation of young people across the city in ballet.
David Kuczora, account manager at Clive Reeves Public Relations, said: “This is an ambitious project because of its sheer scale, uniting 80 young people from diverse backgrounds each with their own story to tell. It’s really showcasing the best of the Birmingham, with arts educators and youth workers partnering to deliver a truly worthwhile programme.”
Activities within the project include dance workshops and rehearsals which will lead to a performance of Cinderella at Birmingham Hippodrome in December.
