Sustainable Housing courses at DMU
De Montford University has launched new courses in sustainable housing, including a Sustainable Communities course.
The Foundation Degree in Sustainable Communities is a three-year, part-time course focusing on regeneration, community safety, sustainable design, community engagement, local economies and worklessness.
It is designed to lead to Housing Studies, Government and Economics and Politics and Government courses also run by the university.
Furthermore, the university is launching a Professional Diploma in Sustainable Communities and University Certificate Professional Development in Housing Studies, which has been partly developed by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).
