New SAP course for Birmingham City University

Birmingham City University is to run a new course in association with Birmingham City University and SAP UK University Alliances.

A new MSc in Enterprise Systems Management will be created alongside a scholarship and a new tra9ining facility at the university.

Cllr Paul Tilsley, deputy leader of Birmingham City Council said: “Birmingham is the largest local government user of SAP in the world and this will be an invaluable local resource to support the development of our digital economy and to reinforce the depth of ICT skills necessary to support modern local public services.

“I also believe this is a blueprint for future collaborations between business, academia and the public sector.”

Parmjit Chima, head of the School of Engineering, Design and Manufacturing Systems at Birmingham City University, added: “In addition to the degree, we will be offering a scholarship that will provide each successful student with an SAP Scholarship of £1,000 per student to go towards their degree fee.
