Knock-out deal for Lincoln firm

Firstaid4sport, the sporting first aid equipment supplier based in Lincoln, has landed a deal to supply hand wrap and strapping to boxers such as Amir Khan and Kevin Mitchell.

The firm will supply its 4Sport Pro Wrap, which now has the approval of the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) for professional boxing matches.

Firstaid4sport’s managing director, Michael Davison, said: “We’re delighted to have the approval of the BBBofC - we always look to source the best quality for our own branded products and this has paid off.”

The sum of the deal was not disclosed.

The firm's new bandage doesn’t stretch length-ways which makes it appealing to the boxing community, as it can be applied more evenly onto the boxers’ hands and help improve performance.

Firstaid4sport also supplies several professional rugby, boxing and cricket teams with its products.
