Lloyds introduces specialist East Midlands team
Lloyds TSB Commercial has launched a specialist team in the East Midlands to provide banking support to sectors which will be crucial to the region’s economic development.
The East Midlands team, which will be part of a wider nationwide network of 220 specialists, will focus on providing tailored funding and guidance to companies with an income up to £15m, in primary healthcare; social healthcare; education; property, and professional services industries. The team will also include specialists who work with the not for profit (NFP) sector.
Colin Dutton, senior manager for Lloyds TSB Commercial, who heads up the specialist team in East Midlands and Lincs, said: “Our specialist team is trained to the highest standards; each team member has a dedicated customer portfolio in the sector and is authorised to make significant bespoke lending decisions based on their considerable understanding of the market.”
He added: “The recession has meant that in many sectors, investment has been put on hold, but recent growth in lending will hopefully give business owners more confidence that they have the capacity and efficiency to compete effectively over the next few years.
