Laura Ashley sells distribution hub
Laura Ashley has sold its 169,000 sq. ft warehouse on Interlink Business Park in Coalville for £12.35m.
The home furniture and women’s fashion brand has agreed a 12-year sell and leaseback deal with the Skandia Property Fund.
The property has a book value of £8.25m and will continue to be used by Laura Ashley for warehousing and distribution purposes. The company says the sale will realise a profit of £4m. Interlink Park is a Wilson Bowden development and is also home to Brantano, Hayes, Antalis, Nissan, Benson Box and Southern Syringe.
