Sphinx sold to Arrow Electronics
Sphinx Group, the Nottingham-based distributor of security and networking solutions, has been bought by US firm Arrow Electronics. Sphinx employs more than 100 people in Nottingham, represents more than 20 security and networking suppliers and has more than 1,000 resellers across the UK. The company will report through Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions' European business. Sphinx's total sales in 2009 were approximately £55.6m.
