Armoury Group clears the way in Basingstoke
Birmingham-based demolition firm Armoury Group has been awarded a major new demolition contract that will clear the way for the regeneration of Basingstoke’s primary town centre business hub, fitting in with the local council’s ambition to create a 21st century centre for commerce. Armoury’s clearance of two vacant 1970s, ten storey office blocks, totalling 140,000 sq ft, will mark the first phase of demolition on the project that commenced in May, with completion anticipated in January 2011.
