CityBlock gets Leicester go ahead
Planners have given the thumbs up to CityBlock, a provider of purpose-built, city centre student accommodation, for a further development of 76 rooms and ground floor retail unit in Leicester city centre. The application, prepared by HOW Planning in conjunction with architects SSHarc, will see the demolition of an existing building in a conservation area and full planning permission for a new build next to CityBlock’s first, hugely successful development in Leicester, which opened last September.
