Browne Jacobson advises on Lincoln hotel deal
Browne Jacobson’s Nottingham banking team has advised Royal Bank of Scotland on its financing for a six-storey hotel development at Lincoln’s Brayford Wharf North as part of a tourism and economic development programme. The 115-bedroom Doubletree by Hilton hotel will house a rooftop restaurant, bars, conference and meeting facilities, health and leisure amenities and parking for 27 vehicles. It is to be completed in 2011. The hotel is being constructed on the site of the former East Midlands Electricity Board and is being developed by Brayford Hotels.
