What does this mean?
Trading as Leadbay Media Group, the combined brands will supply more than 45,000 mortgage and loan leads and 15,000 life and income protection related leads per year to mortgage advisors and IFAs. Leadbay Media Group will be headed up from All About Group’s Leicester office by director Rob Ridge. He said: “I am committed to growing this company to the benefit of both the brokers and financial advisers who support us and buy from us, but also our affiliate partners who provide us with leads. Leadbay Media Group remains committed to financial services and will build on the previous success of the two brands while also taking the company into new arenas.”
Who advised?
Corporate partner Chris Rees and solicitor Rik Pancholi at the Leicester office of Nelsons advised All About Group in the deal, with employment advice provided by solicitor Ruth Edwards.
Insider comment:
Rob Ridge founded the utilities-focused marketing company JER Marketing, which he sold in 2005 to The Help Group. True to form Ridge, who was managing director of The Help Group, is going to head up the newly-created Leadbay Media Group.
Despite the relative youth of the two companies; Ridge formed All About 18 months ago and Leadbay was formed in 2005, the merger gives the company every chance of dominating the industry by pooling their already considerable resources.
