Bonnington Plastics planning Nottingham relocation

Share | |

Bonnington Plastics is hoping to open a new 143,848 sq ft UK headquarters in Nottingham. The company, which is one of the largest importers and distributors of DIY, gardening, catering and leisure products in the country, has submitted a planning application to Nottingham City Council to transform the huge former Lear Corporation factory premises on Glaisdale Parkway into its new UK base. Bonnington Plastics is currently based near Wymeswold in Leicestershire and employs 22 people, but now says it has outgrown those premises. The company, which is hoping the move will increase its workforce to 40 people, supplies the likes of B&Q and Wilkinson and in 2007 opened its first overseas office in Ningbo, China.
