New deal continues CFS hot streak
Who?
Sutton Coldfield-based Contract Fire Security (CFS), a provider of fire and security services.
Did what?
Bought Sector Guard, a southern-based security company that was part of the Legion Group.
What does this mean?
The purchase provides CFS with 2,700 contracts for CCTV and intruder services, and is the fourth acquisition the company has made in the last 18 months.
Insider comment:
CFS is now almost 25 years old and has grown over 14 per cent each year, representing success in its ambitious buy and build strategy. The business hopes to achieve turnover of £25m this year.
For Legion Group the deal, as so often seems to be the case, helps it to focus its energies on its core business. However, the company, which will no longer be offering the service associated with Sector Guard, said it hopes to forge a strong working relationship with CFS.
