Premier Inn set for Loughborough
Saxondale Properties, the Nottingham-based developer controlled by Andrew Butcher and Steve Cuthbert, has received planning permission for a 112-bed Premier Inn on land adjacent to the Charnwood Borough Council offices on Southfields, Loughborough. The land currently houses derelict former temporary offices which were occupied by the council and the building will sit between the council offices and the police headquarters. Construction is due to start in September, with the hotel opening in October 2011.
