Highways Agency move ‘vote of confidence’
The arrival of the first office business tenant into The Cube is a huge boost for the building, according to administrator PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The Highways Agency has begun the relocation of its 700-strong team from nearby Broadway Plaza at Five Ways, to its new 60,000 sq ft, BREEAM Excellent offices at The Cube, located behind the Mailbox in Birmingham. The Cube went into administration just five weeks before the Highways Agency was due to move in. Matthew Hammond, joint administrator and partner at PwC, said: “This is a vote of confidence for The Cube and all involved in completing the building and marketing its space.”
