Mystery names in bid to storm Castle
Castle Support Services, the Birmingham-based electro-mechanical inspection, maintenance, and repair services business, has confirmed that it is holding talks with “more than one party” which “may or may not” lead to an offer being made for the company. The news comes after Castle’s share price rose steeply last week. A statement from the board read: “The discussions are at an early stage and the board emphasises that there can be no certainty that any offer will be forthcoming. A further announcement will be made in due course.” Revenue at Castle for the six months to 31 December 2009 was £61.6m, with profits at £5.7m.
