Norman Hay seals watertight deal
Coventry-based Norman Hay, the chemicals and systems group, has sold its 30 per cent of its chemicals and waterproofing business TAM International to Normet, the Finnish manufacturer of mining equipment, for £2.4m. Clearwater advised Norman Hay on the deal. Philip Nuttall, partner at Clearwater, said: “TAM and Normet complement each other extremely well and the deal represents significant opportunities for both businesses. Normet can now add TAM’s products to its existing packages for mining and tunnelling, providing a better-rounded service to its customers.”
