Cedar House gets college gig
Cedar House Investments has been appointed as development partner for the redevelopment of the Brooksby Melton College site in Melton Mowbray.
The Pride Park, Derby company will be working alongside the college governors and master planners to take the project forward. The planned redevelopment will involve a retail development, which will act as a catalyst to bring forward the college’s campus redevelopment proposals.
The scheme will comprise a 40,000 sq ft supermarket and include the refurbishment of the Melton theatre. Chris Carlisle, managing director of Cedar House Investments, said: “The project will facilitate further investment within Melton town centre and helping to underpin the town’s retail offer.”
