Derby city-centre land sold
Acting on behalf of client Henry Boot Developments, Innes England has disposed of land on Roman Road, which was most recently occupied as a plant hire depot and includes more than 3,000 sq ft of industrial buildings, which are currently unused. Plans for the site are yet to be announced, but Innes England surveyor Nigel Jones said: “We were delighted to secure the sale of this land holding. The lack of small-scale land opportunities throughout the Derbyshire area has been acknowledged for some time. The site represented a rare opportunity, which has been proven by the healthy amount of interest that it has generated.” Milner McCrea acted for unnamed investor.
