Wanted: 30-40,000 sq ft in Leicester

Leicester looks set to become one of the first East Midlands beneficiaries of government departmental relocations. Insider has learned that the Tribunals Service has a requirement for 30,000 - 40,000 sq ft of office accommodation within Leicester city centre. The requirement coincides with lease expiries on existing accommodation within the city. "We are currently advising the Tribunals Service on their operational requirements within Leicester and are in negotiations on several options. We remain keen to identify whether there are any alternative opportunities which exist within the city centre," said Matthew Robertson, surveyor at the Nottingham office of King Sturge.
