Rogers expands care home empire
A Midlands care home owner has acquired her fourth care home in the region after securing a loan from Lloyds TSB Commercial. Karen Rogers has added to her existing portfolio of three homes in Bromyard and Hereford by purchasing Charnwood County Residence in Hereford with an asking price of £895,000. The enlarged portfolio takes total turnover for the group to over £3.5m, while a recent recruitment drive has brought headcount to 110. Rogers is seeking further acquisition opportunities across the Midlands and the UK. She said: “The care home market remains strong and is projected to continue growing as a result of demographic changes.”
