Has snapped up local rival Midsteel Bars for an undisclosed sum.
What does this mean?
D & J Steels is a steel stockolder, as is Midsteel Bars, which it has acquired from Kingswinford’s Midsteel Group. It has been renamed D & J Engineering Steels and will relocate to D & J’s site at Colliery Road, Wolverhampton. The combined company will be the largest steel stockholder to the forging industry in the UK and an important supplier to engineering, and oil and gas industries.
