Share | |

Opus Land, the name behind some of the Midlands’ biggest commercial and industrial development schemes, including Opus 9 at Wednesbury, Opus Axis at Burton-on-Trent and Opus 40 at Warwick, has further strengthened its landbank after buying one of Birmingham’s largest vacant sites. The 10-acre Omega Park development at Erdington, which will be developed with the support of the Palmer Capital Development Fund, was previously home to engineering giant GKN, was later acquired by Wilson Bowden, and was sold by Clowes Development to Opus for £2.4m. Fronting onto Chester Road close to junction 6 of the M6, the scheme has planning consent for some 193,245 sq ft of office, industrial and distribution in 12 units ranging in size from 3,000 sq ft to 55,790 sq ft. Agents are King Sturge and GVA Grimley.
